Hailey Buzbee was a 17-year-old high school student from Fishers, a northeast suburb of Indianapolis. She was known to her family as intelligent, kind, and ambitious. She was very close to her parents and enjoyed playing online games. Tyler Thomas is 39 years old, of Columbus, Ohio, is charged with pandering sexually explicit material involving a minor and tampering with evidence. He allegedly met Hailey online and then in person at his home and at a short-term rental in Hocking County. During a search on January 21, photo and video files of Hailey were found on his electronic devices including deleted files.
