A conspiracy is being hatched once again to worsen the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have found & destroyed seven IED’s in different parts of kashmir from past seven days. Terrorists are continuously trying to target security convoys in Jammu and Kashmir, which are being thwarted by security forces.
During night hours an IED was recovered at Ghat Takuna area of Awantipora, later destroyed with the help of BDS team.
Another IED was found in North Kashmir’s Bandipora Srinagar Highway, traffic from both sides were stopped for hours, later BDS team called and the improvised material was destroyed.
A high-security alert has been issued across Jammu and Kashmir due to recent terror attacks in Pakistan. including the killing of a top commander of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Security forces have been directed to maintain a close watch, especially around soft targets. Protected persons, including politicians, have been advised to follow strict security protocols.
An official told that the forces have been directed to maintain a close watch and “extraordinary” vigil to thwart any attempt by anti-national elements to carry out any attack, especially on soft targets, by intensifying area domination patrolling and search operations.
The protected persons have been asked to keep their programmes secret, and move around with their personal security officers who should be permitted to leave only after getting a substitute
The protectees have also been asked not to come out to receive guests without knowing their identity.
