Karachi Blast Today: Tension prevailed in Pakistan’s commercial city of Karachi on Saturday evening due to an explosion accompanied by heavy firing, which took place in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi. According to Rescue 1122 Sindh, their central command center had sent out rescue workers right after there were reports of an explosion in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 5. Their ambulances, firefighters, and police arrived at the site in just minutes while as per the latest reports by officials, there were no injuries sustained in the explosion.

In response to this, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah instructed high-ranking police officers to immediately submit a comprehensive report.
In an official statement by the spokesperson of the Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah instructed Sindh Inspector General of Police and Additional Inspector General of Karachi to ensure that proper measures were taken for “determining the nature of the incident.” This clearly shows how seriously the provincial government is taking this bombing incident.

The investigation is ongoing as to whether it was an accident or an attack in preparation while the security forces continued searching the area late in the evening, as the forensics team was tasked with collecting evidence from the scene of the blast.
