In the campaign’s final reporting period, from 29 July through 4 August, Lamont spent $2.4 million, with 65 per cent, or $1.55 million, going toward television advertising, while Elliott spent $956,000 over the same week, with 73 per cent, or $700,000, devoted to TV commercials.
