Discord Outage Today: Discord is down for users in the US, with reports pointing to problems with the app, login system and voice calls. The outage is particularly frustrating for users trying to open Discord on their computers, as some say the app is simply refusing to load even after repeated attempts.
The latest outage data shows that 56% of reported problems are related to the App, making it the biggest issue by a clear margin. Login problems account for 19%, while 13% of reports involve Voice Calls. The pattern suggests that the disruption is affecting basic access to Discord, rather than being limited to one specific feature.
Discord Outage Today: Is Discord Down Today?
Discord is currently facing reported problems in the US, with users struggling to load the application and, in some cases, log into their accounts.
The reported problem breakdown is:
- 56%: App
- 19%: Login
- 13%: Voice Calls
The high percentage of app-related reports is particularly important because it suggests that many users are having trouble getting into Discord in the first place. Users who manage to access the service may also encounter problems with logging in or joining voice conversations.
Discord Outage Today: Downdetector Shows User Reports
The latest outage reports show that the Discord app is the biggest source of complaints, accounting for more than half of all reported problems.
Login issues are the second-largest category, while voice calls make up another significant portion of reports. This means users may experience different symptoms depending on how they access Discord.
Some users may see the app stuck while loading, while others may get past the opening screen but struggle to sign in or connect to voice channels.
Discord Outage Today: What Problems Are Users Reporting?
Users are reporting problems with the Discord desktop app, with some saying they still cannot load the application on their PCs.
One user asked, “Yoooo still having any issues? I still can’t load the app on my pc.”
The complaint highlights one of the main problems being reported during the outage. For users who rely on Discord for gaming, work or online communities, being unable to open the desktop application can effectively cut them off from their servers and conversations.
Another user pointed toward a possible connection with Cloudflare, saying, “I am checking Reddit; apparently the prevailing belief is it’s tied to Cloudflare.”
However, this remains a user theory and has not been confirmed as the cause of the Discord outage.
Discord Outage Today: Is Discord Not Working?
For affected users, Discord is not working normally. The most common complaint is that the app fails to load, while other users are encountering login and voice-call problems.
The issue can be especially confusing when Discord appears to work for some users but not for others. Server-side problems can affect different regions, platforms or services at different times, meaning one person may be able to open Discord while another remains stuck on the loading screen.
Users who cannot load the app on their PC may therefore be experiencing the wider service disruption rather than a problem with their individual computer.
Discord Outage Today: Which Areas Are Affected?
The latest reports point to users in the US, although the exact reach of the disruption may change as more people report problems.
Discord outages can also affect users differently depending on whether they are accessing the service through the desktop application, mobile app or web version.
At present, the available reports suggest that the desktop app is one of the most affected areas, while login and voice-call problems are also being reported.
Discord Outage Today: Has Discord Confirmed the Issue?
There is currently no confirmed explanation that links the latest Discord problems to Cloudflare.
The Cloudflare theory is circulating among users online, but it should not be treated as an official explanation unless Discord or Cloudflare confirms it. A major service can also experience problems with its own infrastructure, authentication systems or third-party connections without the issue necessarily being caused by Cloudflare.
Users should therefore wait for an official update before concluding what is behind the outage.
Discord Outage Today: What Should Users Do?
If Discord is not loading on your PC, try closing the application completely and opening it again. Users can also check whether Discord works through a web browser to see if the problem is limited to the desktop app.
Restarting the internet connection can also help rule out a local connectivity problem. However, if Discord fails to load across different devices or networks, the issue is more likely to be related to the service itself.
Users should avoid repeatedly reinstalling the app if a wider Discord outage is already being reported, as that is unlikely to fix a server-side problem.
Discord Outage Today: When Will Services Return to Normal?
There is currently no confirmed restoration time for the Discord outage.
The situation may improve gradually as Discord’s affected systems recover, but users should keep checking official service updates and outage reports for the latest information.
For now, the biggest reported problem remains the Discord app, with login and voice-call issues also affecting users. If the Cloudflare theory gains official confirmation, more information should become available about the cause and expected recovery time.
