During a recent photo opportunity with reporters, he held up a physical printout of the Washington Post headline and urged journalists to look at it, stating, “The headline today is exactly that. Did you see it?”
Trump then added that “Prescription drug prices down more than at any time over 60 years. What else do I have to say?” During his second tenure, he has taken multiple measures for a price drop, including his Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing approach and the TrumpRx initiative.
The image was also shared by outgoing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, who stated that the historic price drop was “All thanks to President Trump”.
