Donald Trump Avenue is situated in Hyderabad’s Nanakramguda area, next to the US Consulate.

The ceremonial plaque was unveiled earlier this week by US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.

The Telangana government announced the proposal ahead of the Telangana Rising Global Summit in December 2025.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the state wanted to move beyond the traditional practice of naming roads after political leaders and instead recognise global personalities, businesses and innovators that have influenced Hyderabad’s growth and international image.
As part of the same initiative, the government has also proposed naming a greenfield radial road after industrialist Ratan Tata and another major road as “Google Street.”

Explaining the idea behind the initiative, Revanth Reddy said, “We will name important roads in Hyderabad after corporates. In India, most roads are named after political leaders. Let us change that in Hyderabad to have Google or Meta or TCS or Infosys street.”
