Georgia Primary Election Results 2026 LIVE: The results for Georgia’s primary election are in. And billionaire Rick Johnson has comfortably defeated opponent Burt Jones, who was endorsed by US President Donald Trump in the swing state.

Billionaire and conservative candidate Rick Johnson has officially won the primary election results in Georgia to gain the lead in the governor race. Johnson, won by 52.6% of the votes, while his opponent Burt Jones could secure 47.4% of the votes. Now, he is all set to face Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms in the general elections this November.  The outgoing Georgia governor is Brian Kemp, who couldn’t contest this time due to term limitations.
