US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also extended Independence Day greetings to the people of India, conveying his “warm congratulations” on behalf of the United States in a statement issued by the State Department ahead of India’s celebrations.
“On behalf of the United States of America, I extend warm congratulations to the people of India on their Independence Day,” Rubio said in a statement.

The Embassy of Israel in India also sent warm greetings, highlighting the values it associates with India’s journey since Independence.
