Iran-US-Israel War News: Tensions between Iran and the United States have intensified after strong warnings from both sides over the future of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil route. Iran issued a global warning about possible energy shortages after US President Donald Trump threatened to strike key infrastructure inside Iran if the strategic waterway remains blocked.

The Strait of Hormuz plays a vital role in global energy supply, with nearly one-fifth of the world’s oil shipments passing through it. Any disruption to this route has the potential to affect fuel prices and energy availability worldwide.

The latest exchange of threats has raised concerns among global markets and governments, as the situation continues to escalate without clear signs of de-escalation.

Iran-US-Israel War News: Trump Issues Strong Warning Ahead of Tuesday Deadline

US President Donald Trump issued a sharp warning to Iran, setting a Tuesday deadline for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. He warned that failure to restore access could lead to major attacks on infrastructure.

He said on Sunday, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah,” ending his Truth Social post with a Muslim prayer phrase.

The warning followed ongoing tensions over maritime control and the continued closure of the waterway to certain nations.

Iran responded quickly to the warning, stating that any attack on its infrastructure could trigger widespread power disruptions across the region. Iranian officials warned that such escalation could also lead to global oil and gas shortages.

Iran replied that the so-called “power plant day” would mean the next day, Wednesday, “will be Power Cut Day in the region”, and the year 2026 thus “will be Oil & Gas Shortage Year in the World”.

“[Trump] is a threat to global peace and energy security. The 25th Amendment is there for a reason,” Iran said via the X handle of its consulate in India’s Hyderabad.

The reference to the 25th Amendment drew attention as it relates to constitutional provisions dealing with the removal or incapacity of a US president.

Iran-US-Israel War News: Strait of Hormuz Remains Central to Global Energy Concerns

The Strait of Hormuz remains at the centre of the standoff, as Iran continues to control passage through the waterway. While Iran has indicated that friendly nations continue to receive access, restrictions on other ships have disrupted supply flows.

Countries across Asia and Europe remain heavily dependent on shipments passing through the strait. Analysts warn that prolonged disruption could push global oil prices higher and strain supply chains.

Recent military developments have also increased tensions. Following a rescue mission involving a US airman, the exchange of warnings intensified, with both sides engaging in aggressive messaging.

Iran-US-Israel War News: Social Media Exchanges Add to Diplomatic Tensions

Iranian diplomatic missions across several countries launched coordinated social media responses to counter the US warning. These messages included historical references and public criticism of the tone used in US statements.

One post read, “History repeats itself. Operation Eagle Claw, a historic US military failure in Iran’s Tabas Desert. April 24, 1980,” referencing a failed US military operation decades earlier.

Another diplomatic response questioned the tone of US leadership, stating: “We know that some Americans swear, but is this the best and finest of you as POTUS? Is this how you want to be represented in the world? Language!”

Additional posts mocked the US leadership style, including one that stated: “Trump, please talk. We are bored.”

As the situation continues to evolve, the possibility of further escalation remains high, leaving global energy markets and governments closely monitoring every development.
