Fresh visuals have emerged from the rapidly escalating conflict involving Israel, the United States, and Iran, offering the first visual clues of the scale of the military operation. The Israeli military on Saturday released brief footage claiming it showed coordinated strikes on “hundreds of targets” inside Iran, as Tehran vowed a strong retaliation.

The video, shared on X by the Israel Defense Forces, runs for around 15 seconds and appears in grainy black-and-white. It shows a series of explosions hitting hilly terrain, which the Israeli military said were part of a joint operation conducted with the United States.

What Does the Israeli Military Footage Show?

According to the IDF, the footage captures moments from a wide-ranging strike that targeted military infrastructure across Iran. While the exact locations shown in the video were not disclosed, the Israeli military described the operation as hitting “hundreds of targets,” indicating a large and coordinated campaign.

The release of the footage marked the first official visual confirmation from Israel following reports of widespread explosions across Iran.

Satellite Image Shows Damage Near Khamenei’s Compound

Around the same time, a satellite image surfaced that appeared to show damage near the residential compound of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran. The image, captured by Airbus and published by The New York Times, showed a thick black plume of smoke rising over the area.

The photo also appeared to show several collapsed structures inside the compound, though Iranian authorities have not officially commented on the extent of the damage or confirmed the condition of the site.

Iran Vows ‘Crushing Response’

Iranian officials responded sharply, warning of a “crushing response” to the joint US-Israel strikes. Reports said the military operation, carried out under the codenames Operation Roaring Lion and ‘Epic Fury’, targeted missile production facilities, military sites, and areas close to the supreme leader’s office.

With visuals now emerging and threats of retaliation intensifying, the situation remains volatile. As military actions continue and information remains limited, the region braces for the possibility of further escalation in the days ahead.
