ROME, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Italy's budget deficit could fall under 3% of national output as early as this year, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said on Wednesday. "The deficit-to-GDP ratio will fall steadily below 3% from 2026, perhaps even from 2025, we shall see," Giorgetti said at an event in Rome. Last week the minister said that the government would cut its 2025 deficit-GDP goal to 3% from a previous 3.3%.
