Price discussed Harvey’s condition during an interview with Andrew Gold’s Heretics podcast, explaining that his weight has become a major concern as he struggles to move around without becoming exhausted.
Harvey weighs just under 30 stone, according to Price. She said he now finds walking difficult and quickly becomes breathless and sweaty.
“I’m not worried about his eyesight. What I’m worried about is him having a heart attack, his obesity. He weighs just under 30 stone,” she told Andrew Gold’s Heretics podcast.
Price said the situation has also affected Harvey’s everyday routine. She described helping him with bathing and said the physical demands of caring for him have become increasingly difficult.
“It’s getting to a point now, where he doesn’t want to walk anywhere, he gets out of breath and sweats and they have said he is at high risk of having a heart attack. You try to [force him to walk] but he literally breaks into a sweat. I bathe him twice a day and it breaks my heart seeing him get in and out of the bath because he’s so big and heavy.”

Harvey has Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic condition that can affect appetite, weight, development and behaviour. He also has autism and septo-optic dysplasia, which has affected his eyesight and is associated with pituitary problems.
Price has previously spoken about the difficulties of managing Harvey’s weight. In March, she said she was concerned about his breathing while he slept and had been discussing possible treatment with doctors.
The latest comments show that her concerns have continued despite efforts to address the problem.

Price also revealed that she has explored obtaining Mounjaro privately for Harvey. However, she said his other medications make the process more complicated because his wider medical team needs to approve any change.
“I’ve tried going private with him to start him on Mounjaro. It’s easy for me to just give it, but because of his other medication, you have to have all the team tick it off.”
Price has previously spoken publicly about trying to secure weight-loss treatment for Harvey. Earlier reports also documented her efforts to discuss Mounjaro with medical professionals as his weight approached 30 stone.

Alongside her concerns about his physical health, Price also pushed back against the way people may perceive Harvey because of his disabilities.
She described him as “clever” and praised his “unbelievable” memory, saying that people often underestimate his abilities.
Price has also highlighted how far Harvey has come since childhood. She said doctors had once warned that he might never walk or talk, but he has achieved both.
“Harvey has done so well considering they said he would never walk or talk.”

The interview also returned to Harvey’s relationship with his biological father, former footballer Dwight Yorke.
Price said Yorke has had very limited contact with Harvey and claimed that her family continues to make attempts to establish communication.
“He’s seen [Harvey] about six times in his whole life. I wish he would get involved. Everyone is like, ‘Kate, why would you allow that when he has not been there?’ Because I’m not that kind of person. I want him to be proud of Harvey and what he’s become and he so looks like Dwight as well,” she continued.
Price said she still hopes Yorke will become more involved despite their long-running distance.
“Dwight would have such a laugh with Harv because he’s so funny,” Price told Gold. “My mum tries every year to contact his manager. Every year, it’s the same answer: not interested. Yet he’s got another son who’s the same age as Princess and apparently does stuff with him, sees him all the time.”
Yorke’s representative declined to comment when approached by The Independent.

Yorke has previously addressed the breakdown in his relationship with Harvey. In 2009, he told Sky News that several factors had contributed to the distance between them and acknowledged that he had made mistakes.
“There’s a combination of different things. One, my time schedule and being based up in Manchester and being a footballer on an everyday basis. I’m not sitting here, saying I’m a total perfect father. I’ve made mistakes along the way. I’m sure that I would love to turn the clock back.
“My relationship [with Price] wasn’t stable at all and we both knew that. What I see of Harvey now, all I want to do is play an integral part of having an input in my son’s upbringing and unfortunately, that has been taken away from me in many ways. I have not enough access to him, I’ve never been invited up to my home in Manchester, never been invited to see my other side of the family. All these things she’s said about me in the past are quite hurtful.”
