Emergency services received the first reports shortly after 9:14 p.m., prompting an immediate response from the London Fire Brigade.
London Brent Warehouse Fire Update: 70 Residents Evacuated as Precaution
Authorities evacuated around 70 people from a neighbouring residential block while crews worked to contain the fire. Officials said the evacuation was carried out purely as a safety measure and confirmed there were no immediate reports of injuries.
London Fire Brigade said, “Around 70 people from a neighbouring residential block have been evacuated as a precaution whilst firefighting operations are carried out.”
The Brigade added, “There are no reports of any injuries at this time.”
London Fire: Massive Emergency Response Deployed
The London Fire Brigade launched a major operation to tackle the fire, sending 25 fire engines and around 150 firefighters to the scene. Crews from Hendon, Willesden, West Hampstead and surrounding stations joined the response.
Firefighters also deployed specialist equipment, including four 32-metre turntable ladders, a High Volume Pump and a Hose Layer to increase water supply and combat the intense flames from multiple angles.

As thick smoke spread across the area, fire officials urged nearby residents to take precautions. Authorities advised people living close to the warehouse to keep doors and windows closed while crews worked to bring the incident under control.
Images and videos shared from the scene showed large plumes of smoke visible from considerable distances across North and West London.
London Brent Warehouse Fire Update: Fire Brought Under Control Before Dawn
After an overnight firefighting operation, the London Fire Brigade confirmed that crews had successfully contained the blaze before dawn on Friday. Firefighters remained at the site afterwards to damp down hotspots and ensure the fire did not reignite.
The Brigade received more than 85 emergency calls from members of the public reporting the incident as flames continued to burn through the warehouse overnight.
Investigators have not yet determined what sparked the warehouse fire. Fire officers are expected to carry out a full investigation once the site is declared safe and cooling operations are completed.
