Analysts tracking the site say workers appear to have begun removing damaged roofing and preparing the structure for possible reconstruction.
The hangar suffered heavy destruction during India’s Operation Sindoor, a major military campaign that targeted several Pakistani airbases amid escalating tensions between the two countries. The latest images suggest that Pakistan has moved beyond simply leaving the structure abandoned and has started initial restoration efforts.

The Bholari airbase strike occurred during intense cross-border hostilities that lasted roughly three days. Indian forces launched coordinated attacks on multiple Pakistani military installations after a sharp rise in drone incursions and attempted strikes on Indian facilities.
Military analysts believe the IAF targeted high-value infrastructure and surveillance platforms at several locations, including Bholari. Satellite assessments after the attack showed extensive structural damage to the hangar, with a large breach visible in the roof.

These reportedly included advanced air-to-surface missiles launched from fighter aircraft and long-range supersonic strike systems used against strategic military assets.
The attack on Bholari came during a period of heavy escalation that forced both sides into urgent military communication. Within hours of several major strikes, senior military officials from both countries reportedly discussed a ceasefire through established hotlines. Analysts believe the intensity and scale of the airstrikes played a significant role in pushing both sides toward de-escalation after days of fighting.
