In a frightening incident, in London’s Hounslow, a group of 200 Sikh men gathered to rescue a 16-year-old girl who was held by a man in his late 30s. The teenage girl was purportedly raped by 6 other men belonging to a Pakistani grooming gang. The case reopened the stitches when Elon Musk, a year ago, backlashed at the UK prime minister for the same.
Pakistani Grooming Gang’s Big Conspiracy
Reportedly, the teenager was just 13 when the accused started befriending her and later began to form a relationship with her. According to the sikh press association, she was persuaded through grooming tactics to leave her home when she turned 16.
The prime target of the Pakistani grooming gangs in the UK is young girls, aged 11-16. They use different tactics to win their trust by luring them with love, gifts, and friendship.
They prey on girls from vulnerable backgrounds and gradually isolate them from their families. Once they are isolated, the perpetrators blackmail them with threats, and they are also trafficked for profit.
Elon Musk vs UK PM Keir Starmer: A Throwback
It was the billionaire and founder of Tesla, Elon Musk, who growled at the UK prime minister over the growing ignorance of the grooming gangs. On social media platform X, he sparked debate last year after calling for Starmer to dissolve the UK parliament and order a general election. His remarks were observed after his failure to deliver justice for Victims of organised child exploitation.
“Starmer was complicit in the RAPE OF BRITAIN when he was head of Crown Prosecution for 6 years. Starmer must go, and he must face charges for his complicity in the worst mass crime in the history of Britain,” Musk wrote in one of his posts.
Keir Starmer Revered At Elon Musk
Prime Minister Keir Starmer, at the time, responded to Elon Musk over his series of inflammatory allegations against him in a long-running national child grooming scandal.
Though the Prime Minister didn’t target him directly, he said while addressing the reporters, “Those who are spreading lies and misinformation as far and as wide as possible, they’re not interested in victims. They’re interested in themselves.”
Keir Starmer then announced a nationwide investigation into gang grooming in June 2025. It came after years of revelations that street-based organisations were grooming and raping thousands of girls and women in UK towns and cities.
The revelation found in a majority of these gangs, there appeared to be a pattern of men, often of Asian and Pakistani origin, grooming vulnerable girls. Almost all of the cases were from the 1990s and 2000s.
How many girls have been raped by the Pakistani Grooming gang?
The reports of the Guardian highlight an inquiry by Professor Alexis Jay, who reported that at least 1,400 children had been groomed between 1997 and 2013.
Throughout the years, they had been groomed in Rotherham by Pakistan-origin men. A 2022 inquiry directs that child abuse is “endemic” across England and Wales. In the recent case, a video of the demonstration has gone viral on the internet, with the footage showing the accused being taken in a police van.
The Sikh community chanted “Jo bole so Nihaal, Sat Sri Akal” together and rescued the girl in the recent case.
