The Pie and Mash business was handed down to Harry’s son William, known as ‘Binkles.’ However, later, William’s daughter, June Robins, took over the business at the age of 27.
She worked for 55 years to build a legacy for the Pie and Mash business. Her first shop was in Queens Road Market in Upton Park. Later, she went on to open a shop on High Street North, East Ham, where she served the Local East End customers and friends for 40 years.
June opened branches throughout East London and Essex to offer pie and mash and supplied supermarkets in the UK and overseas.
