Russian forces launched a series of drone and missile strikes targeting civilian and postal infrastructure in an overnight attack in Ukraine’s Odesa oblast. The attack left 9 people injured & destroyed a shopping centre, an Epicentr hypermarket, and 2 homes. According to local authorities, Russian forces also targeted a post office. No casualties have been reported so far.

Ukrainian long-range forces struck Russia’s Savasleyka military airbase in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia during an overnight attack. :Savasleyka is a primary base for Russian MiG-31K fighter jets, which are used to launch ballistic missiles. Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the strike. No casualties or injuries have been reported yet.

A Russian missile strike heavily damaged the ArcelorMittal steel plant in Kryvyi Rih, a facility owned by Indian-origin billionaire Lakshmi Mittal. The attack caused 2 casualties & injured 14. It also caused critical energy-production units and blast-furnace facilities.due to which all production processes were partially halted for some time. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih issued a statement confirming that technical specialists are currently checking the extent of damage caused.
Russia Ukraine War Latest Update: What Happened in Samara?
The Ukrainian troops unleashed an overnight attack in which flamingo missiles were used to attack the Progress Rocket and Space Centre in Russia’s Samara oblast.
The targeted facility is a critical hub for the Russian space agency Roscosmos. It manufactures the Soyuz-2 family of space launch vehicles used to put Russian military, reconnaissance, and communication satellites into orbit.
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the strike and stated that “A good achievement. The distance from our border is about 900 kilometres,”. He then added that “Our plan of long-range sanctions against Russia for this war is being implemented, and it is important that Russia’s war potential be reduced. Peace is needed, and this must be evident in Russia – through concrete damage to specific facilities.”
The Ukrainian troops then tried to target industrial infrastructure in Samara but in vain. Ivan Noskov, the head of Samara oblast’s capital, confirmed that “a massive attack” had been repelled.
