Today the foreign ministry of Turkey put out a new request aimed at Russia and Ukraine. While speaking in a interview with state news agency Anadolu, Turkish foreign minister Hakim Fida said that “The conflict has spread across the whole Black Sea”.
Fidan then added that “To begin with, they targeted the ports and the military ships. Now, they are attacking all commercial shipping without distinction”. He then emphasised the need for a mechanism after which, a moratorium could be established on all attacks in the Black Sea. Maritime tensions have also lingered in the Sea of Azov, another sea which Russia and Ukraine share.

The Kremli has not issued any response to that accusation.

Over the past few weeks, Russia has been attacking multiple seaports of Ukraine, located along the Black Sea. and today, the Kremlin launched a massive drone and missile attack on Odesa, a prominent city in Southern Ukraine.
The attack injured 12 people and caused power outages for at least 90,000 residents of the city. It also sparked multiple fires. According to the Kremlin’s defence ministry precision air-launched weapons and attack drones were used to hit military warehouses containing communications and electronic warfare equipment. No casualties have been reported so far.

Odesa was not the oly Ukraianian city that the Kremlin attacked today. Kremlin troops launched a massive attack on Kharkiv city in Eastern Ukraine today, killing 3 and injuring 37. The strike also caused some localised fires. The city (Kharkiv) is the capital of the Kharkiv oblast, which is partially under Russian control, according to some reports.
Russia Ukraine War Latest News: North Korea to Supply More Troops to Russia?
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky recently made a bold claim about the military alliance between Russia and North Korea. According to him, North Korea is “studying” the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and will send between 30,000 to 50,000 more troops. The country is hoping to “gain experience in modern warfare under Russia”. Zelensky also stated that “We have already found North Korean missiles on the territory of Ukraine. Today, this is already an established fact”.
Pyongyang, which is a close ally of Moscow, has already lost close to 7,000 troops during the ongoing war. According to data from the Ukrainian military’s intelligence unit, the majority of the casualties happened in Russia’s Kursk oblast, with 50% of North Korea’s deployed troops either dead, injured or captured .
