Russia has announced that it is shutting down its consulate as well as cultural centres in Germany. The announcement comes after Germany publicly blamed Russia after a drone full of explosives was found near a Ukrainian aircraft at the Leipzig/Halle airport.
The news was shared by Russia’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov who slammed Germany for shutting down the Russian House cultural centre in Berlin. Lavrov added that the Russian cultural centres in Germany remained open “despite all the Ukrainian complications in our relations with the West,”
