A major scandal is currently unfolding in Israel as multiple former employees have filed lawsuits against Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It comes at a time, when her husband’s popularity is also dipping, ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections.
Sara Netanyahu Abuse Scandal: Benjamin Netanyahu’s Wife Hit With Multiple Abuse Allegations From Former Employees at PM Residence
According to a report, Sara Netanyahu is currently facing abuse allegations from multiple ex-staff members of the PM residence in Israel. Some of the complaints include mistreatment, including verbal humiliation, yelling, insulting and demanding excessive work.
According to Yehiel Ohav Ami, he got “subjected to yelling, insults and humiliation and was once ordered to clean the kitchen floor while crawling.” while working at the Prime Minister residence in Jerusalem this past year. He also said that Sara Netanyahu wished him cancer and death and, after claiming that he had autism, told him: “I am the No. 1 psychiatrist in the country, and I have no competition.” Ami has now taken legal action against Sara.
A separate lawsuit in April alleged that Sara threw pieces of tomatoes and olives at an employee because she was displeased with the ingredient proportions on her breakfast plate. That case got settled out of court. This is not the first Sara Netanyahu has faced such complaints as multiple former employees have spoken about her allegedly abusive behaviour over 25 years.

Sara Netanyahu is an Israeli educational psychologist and the wife of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Before her husband entered politics, Sara worked as a child psychologist in Jerusalem.
