TABLE-Greek August producer price inflation at -1.7% y/y

Sept 30 (Reuters) - Data released by the Greek statistics service (ELSTAT) on Tuesday showed that the country's producer price inflation in August was down 1.7% year-on-year, driven by a 3.2% price decrease in energy compared to the same month of 2024, while producer prices were 5.3% higher on the year in durable consumer goods. ELSTAT said that producer price inflation in August recorded a 0.6% decrease compared to July. In the twelve-month period from September 2024 to August 2025, the average overall producer price inflation decreased 0.4% in comparison to the period from September 2023 to August 2024, according to ELSTAT.
