Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, influencer and model Haley Baylee, over explicit comments she made about his private parts that went viral online. The legal battle centres on remarks made during a livestream that compared Kalil’s penis size to ‘two Coke cans’, a metaphor that sparked widespread attention.

Matt Kalil, 36, alleges that Baylee’s statements were ‘degrading’, invaded his privacy, and led to unwanted public scrutiny. The former pro athlete is seeking more than $75,000 in damages for invasion of privacy.

Who is Matt Kalil?

Matt Kalil is a retired NFL offensive tackle known for his time with the Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers. A standout at USC, Kalil was selected fourth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft and earned Pro Bowl honours as a rookie. Injuries eventually shortened his career, and he retired from professional football.

Matt Kalil married model and influencer Haley Baylee in 2015, but the couple divorced in 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. Since retiring, Kalil has sought a private life, but the recent controversy has thrust him back into the spotlight.

Who is Haley Baylee?

Haley Baylee, formerly Haley Kalil, is a social media influencer, model, and former pageant titleholder. She became known through her lifestyle content, fashion posts, and TikTok and Instagram presence. Baylee has also competed in pageants, winning titles such as Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2010 and Miss Minnesota USA 2014, building a sizeable online following.

In November 2025, Baylee made remarks during a live stream that went viral because they were unusually personal for a public platform. Her comments drew attention and criticism, ultimately prompting legal action from Kalil.

Matt Kalil Sues Ex-Wife: What’s the Controversy?

The controversy began during a live stream with popular streamer Marlon Garcia in November 2025, where Baylee discussed her past marriage to Kalil. In the conversation, she said the former couple’s sexual life was difficult and cited Kalil’s anatomy as a contributing factor. Baylee described Kalil’s penis size as “two Coke cans, maybe even a third.”

The explicit metaphor spread rapidly across social media, becoming a viral talking point and drawing widespread attention well beyond typical sports news coverage. According to legal documents, Kalil claims that Baylee “implied that the size of Plaintiff’s genitalia was a primary factor in the parties’ divorce,” and that this amounted to an invasion of privacy.

Matt Kalil’s complaint says the comments led to “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public” and that his family, including his current wife, received “disturbing and alarming messages” as a result of the viral footage.

In addition to privacy claims, Matt Kalil alleges Baylee benefited from increased engagement and monetisation on social media after the remarks, a point the lawsuit categorises as unjust enrichment.

‘Two Coke Cans’ Remark Sparks Legal Battle

The controversy at the centre of the lawsuit stems from a viral livestream in November 2025, where Haley Baylee described Matt Kalil’s penis as “two Coke cans, maybe even a third.”

Matt Kalil claims the comment was humiliating, invasive, and led to unwanted public scrutiny. The metaphor quickly spread online, dominating social media conversations and drawing widespread media attention.

Haley Baylee Responds with Shock & Hurt

Haley Baylee has publicly responded to the lawsuit, describing her reaction as one of shock and emotional pain. She told media outlets that she spoke highly of Kalil at various points during the livestream and was not attempting to shame him.

“I speak highly of him in multiple ways throughout that conversation… I am genuinely shocked and incredibly hurt upon receiving the news of this filing,” she said, calling litigation “an emotionally draining experience.”

Despite the backlash, Baylee maintained that she cares “deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared,” stressing that only parts of the longer livestream were being highlighted.
