US-Iran War Latest News: Fresh tensions surfaced in the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran after President Donald Trump issued strong warnings against Tehran while simultaneously expressing willingness to negotiate.

In a series of posts on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump combined threats of military action with an offer to continue diplomatic talks. His remarks came as the fragile ceasefire between the two nations showed signs of strain.

US-Iran War Latest News: Trump Issues Threat Alongside Offer of Talks

Trump used strong language to accuse Iran of violating ceasefire terms, particularly after incidents near the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important shipping routes.

“Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz — A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it?” Trump wrote.

He then confirmed diplomatic plans by stating, “My Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations,” read the next sentence.

Trump also criticised Iran’s recent actions affecting maritime traffic, claiming economic losses for Tehran due to disruptions in shipping.

“My Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations,” he reiterated while signalling continued diplomatic engagement.

US-Iran War Latest News: Strong Warning Against Iran’s Infrastructure

Despite offering talks, Trump issued one of his strongest warnings yet against Iran’s infrastructure.

He said the United States was offering what he described as “a very fair and reasonable DEAL”.

With it came the threat, “I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years. IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!”

The statements highlighted the dual approach taken by Washington—maintaining pressure while leaving space for negotiations.

US-Iran War Latest News: Ceasefire Remains Fragile After Recent Escalation

The current conflict began after military strikes targeted locations in Tehran earlier this year. Since then, tensions have repeatedly escalated, leading to international concern about wider instability in the region.

A temporary ceasefire brokered with mediation support from Pakistan provided a short pause in hostilities. The agreement required Iran to keep the Strait of Hormuz open to commercial shipping.

However, the truce has faced repeated challenges. Both sides accused each other of violating the terms, and shipping movement in the region remained unpredictable.

Earlier warnings from Trump added to fears of escalation. He had previously threatened large-scale attacks on Iranian infrastructure if negotiations failed.

US-Iran War Latest News: Islamabad Talks Seen as Critical Turning Point

Diplomatic attention now focuses on planned discussions in Islamabad, where representatives from both sides are expected to hold another round of talks. The first round of negotiations reportedly ended without a breakthrough, leaving several key issues unresolved. Analysts believe the upcoming meeting could determine whether the ceasefire survives or collapses.

At the same time, naval activity and shipping restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz continued to affect global trade routes, making the outcome of negotiations crucial for international markets. With threats and diplomacy unfolding side by side, the situation remains tense. Observers continue to watch closely as both countries weigh military options against diplomatic solutions.
