US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: The recent events from around the Middle East have revealed the way in which the Iran nuclear standoff and the new security situation in Gaza are getting connected in the present-day reality. Indeed, the international community is applying increasing pressure on Iran in connection with the efforts of the IAEA to regain access to Iran’s nuclear installations, while the West is trying to push for referral to the UN Security Council. In addition, Kosovo has become a part of the projected Gaza International Stabilization Force (ISF).

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: IAEA Urges Iran to Reengage

Rafael Grossi, Director General of IAEA, has called upon Iran to engage with the nuclear agency once again, as he believes that such a move may create an opportunity for diplomacy. This has come at a time when the US, Britain, France and Germany have supported a draft resolution, which could end up reporting Iran to the United Nations Security Council and the situation is quite serious.

According to reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran possessed 440.9 kg of uranium, which was enriched to 60% before the attack on their nuclear facilities.

Grossi described the lack of contact with Iran as “regrettable”.

“The best, shortest way for a positive outcome is for Iran to engage with us,” Grossi told a press conference. “If Iran engages with us in a serious dialogue, if we can start getting access … I can guarantee to you that this will have very, very positive repercussions.”

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: Tehran Rejects Western Pressure

The Iranian mission at the United Nations has called this resolution yet another “desperate measure,” saying that escalation will only bring about more problems. Iran has also limited access to the affected sites of their nuclear program, thus preventing international experts from having full knowledge of the situation in relation to the nuclear stockpile of Iran. The problem is clear-cut but difficult in its nature as the West wants to be assured and Iran sees any more pressure on them as politically unacceptable.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: Gaza Rubble Raises Evidence Concerns

Consequences related to humanity and law in regard to the Gaza war are another important issue to be considered. The special rapporteur of the United Nations Francesca Albanese has stated that removing the rubble might prevent finding evidence required for an investigation of international crimes committed. The Palestinians believe that there could be over 10,000 bodies under the ruins in Gaza, making the restoration process difficult.

“Gaza’s rubble contains human remains and physical evidence relevant to the investigation of alleged international crimes, including genocide,” Albanese said.

“It is part of a crime scene, a graveyard, and the material record of what happened during a brutal and senseless bombing campaign that lasted two years,” she said.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: Kosovo Joins Gaza Stabilization Force

The involvement of Kosovo contributes towards the multilateralism that is being created through the Board of Peace, which is backed by the United States. Some of the first contributors of troops include five nations as Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo and Albania.

Egypt and Jordan have also played roles in training Palestinian police. It is estimated that the force will be headed by US Major General Jasper Jeffers and will include 20,000 international stabilizing forces, including 12,000 Palestinian police.

“At a ceremony in Pristina today, representatives of the Republic of Kosovo, the Board of Peace & the International Stabilization Force signed the Participating Country Agreement for the inclusion of Kosovo in the ISF,” the board said in a post.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: A Difficult Road Ahead

Board of Peace initiatives have generated considerable amounts of money, with a UN report showing that there have been pledges worth $17 billion during the reporting period however, it should be noted that pledges are different from money that has been disbursed to Gaza, and UN officials have emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between them. There have been announcements in the US about $206 million being made available for the stabilization force.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: What Comes Next

Both of these issues hinge on upcoming weeks as Iran’s readiness to give IAEA access might determine how the nuclear crisis evolves into either diplomatic discussions or confrontation. As for Gaza, the success of the stabilization operation will depend on security measures, funding, reconstruction efforts and verification of evidence and respect for civilians rights. The general conclusion is evident: military action can change the situation on the ground but it is only diplomacy that will bring about a permanent state of affairs.
