US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: Another critical stage of the US-Israel-Iran war is coming as Tehran refuses to succumb to the demands from Washington amid the ongoing escalation in the region. The president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, said that it would be impossible to break the spirit of Iran using economic and military pressure. It comes after the escalation in the conflict goes beyond the boundaries of direct fighting between the US, Israel and Iran. The hostilities taking place in Yemen between the Houthis, the unrest in the occupied West Bank, and disturbances in the vital Bab el-Mandeb strait contribute to the chaos.

Pezeshkian took an assertive stance in saying that Iran will never submit to “the bullying tactics of America.” Pezeshkian wondered why non-military targets such as the lives of civilians and infrastructure had to suffer if the goal was purely military. In this respect, the statements made by the president of Iran are part of Tehran’s overall strategy of portraying the war as one fought for national sovereignty and not as a purely military endeavour.

“Since the US cannot force the Iranian people to surrender through bullying, it seeks to drive them to capitulate by depriving them of their livelihoods and essential resources; yet, the Iranian people will not yield,” Pezeshkian said in comments reported by the semi-official Fars news agency.

“If they are men of war, let them fight the military; what business do they have with the people’s bread, livelihoods, and infrastructure? If they possess any humanity, why do they cut off the people’s access to food and water?”

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: Civilian Infrastructure Becomes Major Flashpoint

Civilians have been the focus of a highly contentious issue during the war and the accusations from Iran point towards an assault by the US on infrastructure that is linked to civilian day-to-day activities. There is a need to confirm such statements through the course of the war, but the political ramifications can be immense. Damage caused to the civilian infrastructure will only increase calls for foreign involvement and make diplomacy difficult.

The situation is also progressing quickly in Yemen. As per the description given by the regional sources, the Houthi rebels have managed to seize control of Mocha and even locations further south, such as Dhubab and an airbase. The importance of the situation is quite large due to the fact that the developments are happening close to the Bab el-Mandeb strait, which is one of the critical maritime choke points in the world.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: West Bank Violence Adds Another Layer

On the other hand, there have been reports of violence that have occurred between Israeli settlers and Palestinians, thereby exacerbating tension in the region. Palestinian authorities claim that there have been instances of attacks around al-Mughayyir, located northeast of Ramallah with people having injuries from fractures and bruising. This is happening as the international community’s concentration has been on the ongoing war.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: UK Vote Shows Another Global Divide

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, the UK parliamentarians came up with a different yet equally politically charged verdict by voting down the legislation on assisting the dying of terminally ill adults in England and Wales with a vote of 286 against 270. The legislation concerned the terminally ill adults who were expected to live less than six months and had to get clearance from two physicians and an expert committee.

In any case, it was evident from the 16-vote difference that the parliament was divided on this issue. Overall, it was evident how multiple crises are influencing international politics at the same time however, regarding the US-Israel-Iran conflict, Pezeshkian’s point of view is quite understandable.
