US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: Ten Iranian fishermen detained in the United Arab Emirates for several months have been released and allowed to return home, Iran’s consulate in Dubai has confirmed.

According to Iranian state-run Press TV, the fishermen were detained by the UAE Coast Guard in March and April after GPS and vessel-tracking disruptions caused their boats to stray into Emirati waters.

The release comes after the UAE freed 55 Iranian fishermen in July, with navigation disruptions linked to the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran reportedly contributing to several Iranian fishing boats accidentally crossing into UAE waters.

The UAE has released 10 Iranian fishermen who had been detained for several months, allowing them to return to Iran.

The fishermen reportedly entered Emirati waters after losing accurate navigation information because of disruptions affecting GPS and vessel-tracking systems.

The fishermen were detained after their boats strayed into UAE territorial waters.

According to Press TV, GPS jamming and disruptions to vessel-tracking systems made it difficult for some Iranian fishermen to determine their precise locations.

The navigation problems have reportedly affected fishing vessels operating in the region since the conflict involving the US, Israel and Iran intensified.

GPS Jamming Causes Iranian Boats To Enter UAE Waters

GPS jamming has emerged as a major concern for vessels operating around the Gulf and nearby waters.

When GPS signals are disrupted, boats can receive inaccurate location information or lose reliable navigation capabilities. This can increase the risk of vessels accidentally crossing international maritime boundaries.

Press TV linked the incidents involving Iranian fishermen to navigation disruptions caused amid the US-Israeli war on Iran.

UAE Previously Released 55 Iranian Fishermen

The latest release is not the first time the UAE has freed Iranian fishermen detained after entering its waters.

The UAE released 55 Iranian fishermen in mid-July, according to Press TV.

The repeated incidents have drawn attention to the impact of regional tensions and navigation disruptions on fishermen operating near the maritime boundaries of Iran and the UAE.

The release of the latest 10 fishermen allows them to return home after months in detention, while maritime activity in the region remains closely watched amid the continuing US-Israel-Iran conflict.
