According to reports from the country’s Yemen News Agency (Saba), the Yemeni army successfully countered 3 Houthi drones in theJabal Habashi district of Taiz province. Similar drone attacks were also reported in Taiz’s neighbouring province of Hodeidah.

A few days ago, Israel Katz, the Israeli defence minister said that his country is closely monitoring Iran and prepared for any potential attack. Now, he has stated that Israeli troops will launch strikes on energy and civilian infrastructure in case of any attacks on Israel.
“Iranian attack on Israel would free Israel from any existing limitations on attacking Iran”, Katz warned. He then added that “We will cripple all of Iran’s national military and civilian infrastructure – including energy infrastructure – and return Iran deep into the Stone Age and darkness”.

US President Donald Trump has frequently sought to assert control over the Strait of Hormuz. Now, he has suggested renaming the waterway to “Trump Strait”.

Ebrahim Azizi, the chairman of Iran’s parliamentary National Security Commission, recently stated that the strategic Strait of Hormuz waterway can’t be reopened without its consent.
He claimed that certain countries that were previously present in the region retreated more than 500 miles (800km), and started resorting to “malicious actions” because they could not “unlock” the waterway.
