This morning, Major-General Ali Abdullahi, the commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters released a formal statement. In that, he described Washington as ‘the Great Satan’ as well as ‘the criminal, treacherous and deceitful enemy’. He then cautioned that “any aggression or barbarism will be met with a decisive and devastating response”.
Abdullahi then added that “The enemy, following successive defeats in the military conflict, has taken comfort in creating division and discord between the people and their leaders. Our dear country’s defensive power is a solid foundation for the peace and security of the proud and courageous nation from south to north and from east to west of the glorious and vast Iranian land.”

Over the past few days, Iran has been attacking multiple gulf allies, including Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan. And a deadly strike on the Al Azra air base in Jordan killed 2 American soldiers, while another remains missing. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that the strike was a part of its ‘Operation Lightning’.
Iran also launched a kamikaze drone strike on Kuwait. The Iranian army confirmed the attack and claimed that it had struck 2 US airbases. The statement also mentioned that “destructive drones” hit an ammunition depot at Camp Al Adiri as well as Patriot and air-defence radars at Ali Al Salem airbase. After consecutive attacks, Kuwait has temporarily closed its airspace.

Iranian supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a strongly worded written statement. He slammed US President Donald Trump and claimed that repeated ceasefire violations prove his signature on the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding is “utterly worthless and devoid of credibility”.
Khamenei said the United States should know that the Iranian nation and the “resistance front” had “unforgettable lessons” for it.
US-Israel-Iran War Latest News: CENTCOM Claims Eighth Night of Strikes Over
The Central Command says it has completed the eighth consecutive night of strikes against Iran, at the commander-in-chief’s direction. The press release stated “During the eighth consecutive night of U.S strikes, CENTCOM forces successfully hit Iranian military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites to continue degrading Iranian military capabilities. American military assets also targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that launched attacks against U.S. service members in Jordan on July 17”.
It then added that “More than 50,000 U.S. men and women in uniform are operating across the Middle East. They remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready”. Since the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran, attacks across the Gulf will most likely continue.

Previously there were reports of American strikes on the Hormozgan province which borders the Strait of Hormuz waterway. At the time, explosions were reported from Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Kish Island, Jask and Sirik.
Now, the US has expanded its target area and struck the city of Shadegan (also spelled Shodegan) in Khuzestan, another province in Southern Iran. Reports from the Iranian news agency Tasnim stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s logistical assets or border-adjacent military capabilities. Khuzestan is considered to be an oil rich province. Over the past 10 days, multiple other parts of Khueztan including Ahvaz, Abadan, Mahshahr and Hoveyzeh County were targeted by the American military.
