The Israeli military said its forces destroyed an underground tunnel in the southern Lebanese village of Sarbin during recent operations near the border.
According to the Israeli army, the tunnel stretched for several dozen metres and was allegedly used by Hezbollah to prepare and carry out attacks against Israeli troops. Soldiers also reported discovering a cache of weapons that included rocket launchers, rockets and other military equipment.
The army further claimed that troops recovered dozens of additional weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank missiles and other combat gear during operations in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah has not immediately responded to Israel’s claims.
US-Israel-Iran War Latest News: Israeli Forces Raid Qalandiya Refugee Camp in Occupied West Bank
Israeli forces launched overnight raids in the Qalandiya refugee camp, north of occupied East Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency.
The report said troops entered the camp, detained several residents and raided the headquarters of the Popular Committee. Authorities also reportedly forced some families to leave their homes during the operation.
Wafa reported that Israeli forces “raided the headquarters of the Popular Committee in the camp, forced several residents out of their homes, and compelled one family to evacuate its house”.
The Israeli military has not publicly commented on the reported operation.
US-Israel-Iran War Latest News: Palestinian Journalist Reportedly Assaulted During Israeli Operation
The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that journalist Mohammad Samreen was “severely assaulted” during the Israeli raid in the Qalandiya refugee camp.
According to the report, Israeli forces entered the area with a large number of military vehicles and demolition equipment while conducting security operations.
The Israeli military has not stated the allegation.
US-Israel-Iran War Latest News: Israeli Operations Expand Across the West Bank
Palestinian officials said Israeli forces also carried out operations in several other locations across the occupied West Bank.
According to Wafa, troops entered the town of al-Khader and the village of Husan in the Bethlehem area, where homes and businesses were searched. Several people were reportedly detained for questioning before being released.
Additional raids were reported in the al-Azza and Aida refugee camps, as well as in Dar Salah and al-Ubeidiya. Wafa also reported that two homes were demolished in the town of Nahalin.
Meanwhile, Palestinian officials said Israeli settlers began fencing off land in the Hammamat al-Malih area of the northern Jordan Valley.

While military operations continued on the ground, diplomatic efforts also remained active. Lebanon and Israel are holding another round of US-mediated negotiations in Rome to discuss security arrangements along the border.
According to reports, the Israeli military has identified three “pilot zones” in southern Lebanon where the Lebanese Army has taken control.
Lebanese officials are reportedly pressing for a complete Israeli withdrawal from occupied territory. Israeli officials, however, maintain that no further withdrawal will take place until Hezbollah is disarmed.
