What Happened in Qeshm Island?
Qeshm Island is an island in the Persian Gulf that’s very close to the Strait of Hormuz. The island comes under Iran’s Qeshm province, which includes other islands and is not located in the country’s mainland territory.
And this morning, the US launched fresh strikes on Qeshm Island. The American military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) said that it launched fresh ‘self defense strikes’ on the island. It also added that all targets on the island had been successfully hit.
Iran Launches Simultaneous Attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain
According to multiple reports, Iran launched aggressive and simultaneous attacks on multiple US allies in the Middle East, including Kuwait and Bahrain. Iran used ballistic aerial missiles to target the Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. State media in Tehran claimed that the missiles were able to inflict heavy damage, but CENTCOM denied the claims.
The IRGC defended the attack on Bahrain by saying, “We had previously warned that in case of aggression, the response would be different and more severe, and we acted accordingly,”.
The IRGC once again targeted Kuwait and released a strict warning earlier today for ‘the aggressor forces’. The statement said, “The era of ‘hit and run’ has ended, and the aggressor forces must bear the dire consequences of their ignorance and reckless adventures.” Many believe that the two countries were targeted because the IRGC wanted to retaliate after the attack on Qeshm Island.
IDF’s Continued Aggression in Southern Lebanon
US President Donald Trump recently tried to broker peace between Israel and Hezbollah, but none of his efforts were fruitful. The Isreli Defence Force (IDF) is still targeting Southern Lebanon. Today, the IDF attacked the port city of Tyre and the towns of Blat and Dibbine. The casualty poll for these attacks has not been shared yet.
Kuwaiti Military Preps for Aerial Defense
After Iran resumed attacks on Kuwait, the country activated its air defences in co-ordination with the American military’s Central Command (CENTCOM). The Kuwaiti government condemned the attacks from Iran and declared that it’s invoking Article 51 from the UN Charter
An additional wave of Iranian drones attempting to attack U.S. forces in Kuwait failed to impact intended targets tonight. U.S. Central Command air defenses successfully downed multiple drones and ensured no American personnel or assets were harmed.

Bahrain Closes Airspaces & Issues Fresh Advisory for Citizens
Shortly after the attacks, Bahrain closed its airspace. The island country also issued a travel advisory for its citizens, urging them not to travel to Iran or Iraq.
Marco Rubio’s Latest Statements
Diplomat and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio defended the war while speaking at a Senate hearing. What they tried to do is they were going to try to build a conventional shield and hide behind that conventional shield”, Rubio told to members of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
He also claimed that the Iranian navy is much weaker now. What’s left of Iran’s navy is a bunch of Boston Whalers with machine guns on them,” he said.
