Trump Asks Iran to Revise Peace Agreement Terms

President Donald Trump has demanded further changes to the final document before it can be signed, with reports claiming he is unsatisfied with the terms previously put forward by Iran. The US president wants these modifications implemented because his administration has not yet endorsed the text. Fresh US Strikes on Iranian Commercial Vessel

A military strike on an Iran bound cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman has further intensified the security situation in the Middle East. According to official statements, the M/V Lian Star, a Gambia-flagged merchant vessel, attempted to enter the Iranian port when a US military aircraft engaged the ship, firing a Hellfire missile directly into its engine room. US Central Command confirmed that the strike successfully neutralized the ship’s propulsion, rendering it adrift and unable to continue its journey to Iran. CENTCOM noted that the vessel had ignored more than 20 warnings before the missile was authorized. Iran has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the disabling of the cargo ship in the waterway.
