The conflict involving Israel, Iran, and the United States has entered a dangerous phase as intense airstrikes, missile launches, and drone attacks spread across several countries in the Middle East. Military operations reported on Friday show the war expanding beyond Iran and Israel, with Gulf states also experiencing air defence activations and missile interceptions.

Large explosions shook Iran’s capital, Tehran, as Israel carried out what it described as a “broad-scale wave of strikes.” At the same time, the United States targeted Iranian naval and missile infrastructure, while Iran responded with attacks aimed at US-linked bases in Gulf countries.

The growing confrontation has disrupted regional stability, affected global air travel, and raised fears of a wider war involving multiple nations across the Middle East.

One of the most significant developments came early Friday when Israeli forces launched a new round of strikes targeting Tehran. Residents reported powerful explosions that shook buildings and sent thick smoke rising above parts of the city.

Israeli operations also targeted areas near Kermanshah, where several Iranian missile facilities are believed to be located. Military officials indicated that the strikes focused on Iran’s missile infrastructure and air defence systems in an attempt to weaken the country’s ability to respond to future attacks.

Analysts say the strikes mark one of the largest aerial offensives carried out since the conflict began earlier this year.

The United States also intensified its military campaign against Iran. US Central Command confirmed that American forces struck the Iranian drone carrier IRIS Shahid Bagheri, setting the vessel on fire during a naval operation.

In addition, US B-2 stealth bombers reportedly dropped bunker-buster bombs on deeply buried ballistic missile launchers inside Iran. Military officials said the attacks aimed to reduce Iran’s long-range missile capabilities and disrupt command systems used to coordinate regional operations.

“We’ve also struck Iran’s equivalent of Space Command, which degrades their ability to threaten Americans,” a US military official said during a briefing.

These operations form part of a broader campaign to weaken Iran’s military infrastructure across land, sea, and air.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Update: Iran Launches Missile and Drone Attacks on Gulf States

Iran responded with a series of missile and drone attacks targeting several Gulf countries that host US military bases. Defence authorities in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain activated air defence systems after detecting incoming threats.

Qatar confirmed that its forces intercepted a drone heading toward the Al Udeid Air Base, one of the largest US military facilities in the region. Saudi Arabia also reported intercepting multiple ballistic missiles and destroying additional aerial threats before they reached military installations.

The retaliatory attacks illustrate how the conflict is spreading beyond the immediate Israel-Iran confrontation and affecting countries across the Gulf.

The violence has also spilled into Lebanon, where Israel launched a series of airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut. The attacks targeted areas believed to host infrastructure linked to Iran-allied Hezbollah forces.

Residents reported fires and emergency evacuations after the strikes, with some buildings damaged near residential zones and commercial areas. The renewed bombardment highlights the risk of the war expanding into additional fronts across the region.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Update: Air Travel Disrupted as Etihad Resumes Flights

The ongoing conflict has disrupted aviation across the Middle East. Several airlines temporarily suspended operations due to airspace risks and security concerns.

However, Etihad Airways announced that it would gradually resume flights to around 70 destinations after nearly a week of disruptions.

“Guests with previous bookings will be accommodated on these flights as soon as possible. Tickets are also available for sale on http://etihad.com
. Guests and members of the public should not travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Etihad or hold a confirmed booking on one of these new flights,” the airline said.

The airline plans to operate limited commercial flights between its Abu Dhabi hub and destinations in Europe, India, the United States, and the Middle East.

US-Israel-Iran War Latest Update: Middle East Conflict Shows No Sign of Slowing

The latest strikes and retaliatory attacks indicate that the Israel-Iran-US conflict continues to escalate rapidly. Military operations now span multiple countries, including Iran, Israel, Lebanon, and several Gulf states.

Security analysts warn that if the hostilities continue to expand, the conflict could disrupt global energy markets, aviation routes, and regional stability for months to come.
