US-Israel-Iran War Live News: The ongoing war in the Middle East has been intensified on a large scale, with fresh missile launches, alleged strikes on nuclear infrastructure and new security alerts across the Middle East. Israel said it detected Iranian missiles heading toward Jordan’s Aqaba, while Iran accused the US of attacking its under-construction Darkhovin Nuclear Power Plant.

US-Israel-Iran War Live News: Israel Detects Iranian Missile Fire Toward Jordan’s Aqaba

The Israeli military said it detected missiles launched from Iran toward Jordan’s southern city of Aqaba on Sunday. According to an Israeli military spokesperson, some projectiles could also enter Israeli airspace, prompting authorities to prepare for possible air raid sirens in southern Israel.

The military urged residents to immediately move to protected shelters if warning sirens sounded.

The spokesperson said, “In the event of a siren sounding, it is required to enter protected spaces and remain there until further notice.” The latest missile launches underline the growing regional impact of the conflict, with neighbouring countries increasingly affected by military activity.

US-Israel-Iran War Live News: Iran Claims US Strike on Darkhovin Nuclear Plant

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation accused the United States of targeting the under-construction Darkhovin Nuclear Power Plant in Khuzestan province during the latest round of strikes.

The agency strongly condemned the alleged attack, calling it a violation of international law and accusing Washington of deliberately targeting a civilian nuclear project.

In its statement, the agency said,”The terrorist and criminal US regime, whose nature is nothing but bullying and lawlessness, carried out an aggressive and barbaric act in violation of international law.”

It also described the facility as, “one of the symbols of the Iranian nation’s dignity and scientific self-reliance”. US officials had not immediately commented on Iran’s allegations.

US-Israel-Iran War Live News: Sirens Sound Across Jordan

Air raid sirens were activated across parts of Jordan on Sunday as military tensions continued to escalate in the region.

The warning came just hours after reports surrounding security concerns in Aqaba, where the US Embassy had earlier warned of a “specific and credible threat.” Jordanian authorities later disputed reports of a full evacuation of the city’s airport and seaport.

Officials have not released further details regarding the reason for the latest sirens, but security forces remain on high alert as missile activity continues across the region.

US-Israel-Iran War Live News: War & Heatwave Trigger Power Crisis in Iran

Iran is also facing growing domestic challenges as ongoing military operations and an intense summer heatwave continue to strain the country’s electricity network.

Power outages have become increasingly common in several cities, disrupting homes, businesses and educational institutions. Speaking to Al Jazeera, university student Kamran said, “The blackouts have derailed and disturbed all of our plans.”

He added, “You lose the will to even study because you never know if the exam will actually happen. You could study all night, only to wake up and find everything cancelled because of electricity cuts.”

The prolonged electricity shortages have added to the pressure on civilians already dealing with the effects of the conflict.

US-Israel-Iran War Live News: Kuwait Reports Fresh Attack on Power & Water Plant

Kuwait’s Electricity Ministry said one of the country’s power generation and water desalination plants came under attack for the second time in two days. The ministry confirmed the incident in a statement posted on X but did not immediately provide information on casualties or the extent of the damage.

The facility is considered critical to Kuwait’s electricity generation and fresh water supply, raising concerns over possible disruptions if attacks continue. Authorities are assessing the situation while maintaining heightened security around key infrastructure.

US-Israel-Iran War Live News: IRGC Claims It Shot Down Another US MQ-9 Reaper Drone

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it shot down an American MQ-9 Reaper drone over Ahvaz province on Sunday. According to Iranian authorities, the aircraft is the fourth MQ-9 Reaper drone brought down during the past eight days.

The MQ-9 Reaper is one of the US military’s primary unmanned aircraft used for intelligence gathering, surveillance and precision strike missions. The United States has not independently confirmed Iran’s claim.

US-Israel-Iran War Live News: What’s Next?

The latest military developments suggest that the conflict is becoming increasingly complex, with attacks, retaliatory strikes and security alerts now affecting several countries across the Middle East.

As the United States and Iran continue exchanging military action and Israel remains on high alert, regional governments are strengthening security around airports, military bases and critical infrastructure.

Experts warn that any further escalation involving strategic facilities or civilian infrastructure could increase the risk of a broader regional conflict in the coming days.
