US-Israel-Iran War Update: The US-Israel-Iran war has led to heightened regional tensions across the middle east. Now, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned US about the consequences, in case attacks resume.

IRGC Warns US That ‘War Will be Extended Outside Middle East’

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) recently issued a statement via local media. In the statement, the IRGC threatened that war could escalate outside the Middle East, if the US decides to resume attacks on Iran. the statement was in response to US President 

“If the aggression against Iran is repeated, the war will be extended outside the Middle East region, and our crushing blows will hit you in places you cannot imagine”, the statement said. It then warned about the severity of the warning, stating, “Unlike the enemy, Iran’s warnings are not empty.  We warn that any new aggressions will activate Iran’s extra regional capabilities”

Could US Resume Attacks on Iran Soon? 

US President recently expressed frustration over the slow progress in negotiations this month. Trump warned Iran of a ‘big hit’, if their concessions to end the war are not met. 

“Well, I mean, I’m saying two or three days, maybe Friday, Saturday, Sunday, something, maybe early next week, a limited period of time, because we can’t let them have a new nuclear weapon,”, he said. 

What Will Happen if War Escalates Globally? 

If the ongoing US-Israel-Iran war esclates globally,  it could lead to global milittyary involvement and economic disruptions. But most importantly, it could plunge the world into global recession. 

Impact On Oil Prices

During this week, oil prices have slightly cooled down due to the ceasefire. But in case, the war resumes, it would once again lead to a huge surge in oil prices worldwide. According to financial analysts, the decrease in prices was due to US Vice President JD Vance’s reassuring statement about progress in negotations with Iran.  

Strait of Hormuz: Will It Be Open or Closed? 

Ever since the war, Strait of Hormuz has been blocked by Iran. so, speculation about whether it will be open or closed continues to remain. Iran recently said that it would continue to tighten control Strait of Hormuz and treat it as their “permanent asset”.    

The statement was from senior Iranian lawmaker Ebrahim Aziz who added that Iran would “with full strength” pursue its legal rights in the waterway and “will show no leniency toward anyone”.
