US Isreal Iran War Latest News:  Authorities in the United Arab Emirates confirmed that debris from an aerial interception of an Iranian projectile fell on the Oracle building in the Dubai Marina on Saturday morning. Officials said the situation was quickly brought under control, and there were no reports of injuries, fire, or major structural damage.

The Dubai Media Office shared an update on X, stating, “Authorities confirm that they responded to a minor incident caused by debris from an aerial interception that fell on the facade of the Oracle building in Dubai Internet City. No injuries were reported.”

UAE Denies Earlier Claims of Iranian Attack on Dubai

Earlier this week, there were reports suggesting that Iran had targeted the Oracle office in Dubai. However, UAE officials rejected these claims, calling them false. The Dubai Media Office clarified that reports linking the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to any attack in Dubai were ‘fake news’ and had no factual basis.

Incident Linked to Ongoing US-Iran Conflict

The aerial interception comes amid the continuing conflict between the United States and Iran. The tensions have started to impact regions beyond direct conflict zones, including Dubai, following Iranian strikes in the wider region.

Dubai Marina: A Key Residential and Tourist Hub

The incident took place in Dubai Marina, one of the city’s major residential areas and a well-known tourist destination. The area is home to popular attractions such as the Dubai Marina Mall, making it a busy and high-profile location.

UAE Faces Multiple Incidents During Ongoing Conflict

Since the conflict began on February 28, the UAE has experienced several incidents, particularly involving attacks on energy infrastructure. These developments highlight the broader regional impact of the ongoing tensions.

According to reports cited by Al Jazeera, an earlier attack on Abu Dhabi’s Habshan gas facility resulted in one death and four injuries. The site, which is the country’s largest natural gas processing facility, suffered significant damage.

UAE Air Defences Intercept Hundreds of Missiles and Drones

Since the start of the conflict, UAE defence systems have intercepted a large number of incoming threats. These include 475 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles, and 2,085 drones targeting the country. On April 3 alone, the Ministry of Defence UAE reported intercepting 18 ballistic missiles, 4 cruise missiles, and 47 drones launched from Iran.

Casualties Reported Amid Ongoing Attacks

The conflict has also resulted in casualties. Two UAE army personnel and one Moroccan civilian working with the armed forces have lost their lives. In addition, nine other fatalities have been reported, involving individuals from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Palestine, and India, according to the defence ministry.

UAE Reaffirms Commitment to National Security

In an official statement, the Ministry of Defence stressed its readiness to respond to any threats. It said, “The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it remains fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and will firmly confront anything that aims to undermine the security of the country, in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, security and stability and safeguards its interests and national capabilities.”

The Dubai incident highlights how the ongoing US-Iran conflict is affecting even major global cities. While the damage in this case was minor and no injuries were reported, the scale of interceptions and rising threats show that the situation in the region remains serious and unpredictable.
