US–Israel–Iran War Latest Update: The drone strikes in the region claimed two people were killed in Oman. The strikes occurred in the Sohar province in Oman. The strikes were carried out during a period of tension in the region. A security source in the region stated that one drone hit the al-Awahi Industrial Area. The strike resulted in the deaths of two foreign nationals. Another drone was shot down in an open area. The strike did not cause any injuries. The strikes were being investigated by the authorities. The strikes were intended to establish the source and reason for the drone strikes in the region.
Earlier in the week, drones were used to attack fuel tanks at the Salalah port. The Iranian authorities denied involvement in the strike. The officials stated that the oil and petroleum supplies were still available. Vanguard Tech, a company that offers maritime security services, stated that the port operations were suspended in the southern part of the region.
Saudi Arabia Intercepts Multiple Drones Targeting Riyadh and Other Regions
The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defense announced that air defenses were able to intercept a hostile drone that sought to target Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter, which is known for housing several international embassies.
Meanwhile, three other drones were shot down in different parts of the country. Air defenses were able to intercept eight other drones in the central and eastern regions of the country. The regions include al-Kharj and the western part of Riyadh. In previous waves, 14 drones were destroyed.

Iran has since retaliated against Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and countries that have US military installations. The situation is also dire for Lebanon as it is being bombarded by Israel. The country has seen almost 700 people die as a result of the bombardment.
