Fresh allegations involving Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates have surfaced after British media outlets published extracts from newly released US Justice Department files linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
What Do the Newly Released DOJ Files Claim About Bill Gates?
The documents reportedly include emails in which Epstein made claims about Gates. According to the files, Epstein wrote that Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease after encounters with “Russian girls" and asked for antibiotics to secretly give to his then-wife, Melinda.
These reports appeared as journalists examined a large new batch of Epstein-related material made public by US authorities.
What Is Written in the Emails Allegedly Linked to Epstein About Bill Gates?
According to reports by The Sun and the Daily Mail, the claims come from screenshots of emails that Epstein allegedly sent to himself on July 18, 2013.
In these messages, Epstein is said to have criticized Bill Gates for cutting off contact with him. He also accused Gates of asking him to remove emails that mentioned a sexually transmitted disease and antibiotics intended for Melinda.
The Daily Mail said Epstein wrote that he had been “dismayed beyond comprehension" by Gates’s decision to end their association. One quoted line reads:
“To add insult to the injury you them (sic) implore me to please delete the emails regarding your STD, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda and the description of your penis."
The Sun repeated these quotations and reported that the documents appear to be draft letters Epstein was preparing, rather than emails he actually sent. One draft was written as if from Boris Nikolic, a former adviser to Gates, around the time he left the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Who Is Boris Nikolic and How Is He Connected to the Claims?
Boris Nikolic is the co-founder and managing director of Biomatics Capital, a venture investment firm focused on health care and life sciences. He also serves on the boards of several companies supported by the firm.
A spokesperson for Nikolic told FOX Business that he had no business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. The spokesperson added that Nikolic’s wide connections in the scientific community may have crossed paths with Epstein’s network at times.
According to British newspaper reports, an alleged Epstein passage claimed Nikolic became involved in a marital dispute between Bill and Melinda Gates. The passage suggested he was pressured into actions described as ethically questionable or potentially illegal, including helping Gates obtain drugs and arranging meetings with other women.
The tabloids emphasized that there is no independent verification of Epstein’s allegations.
How Has Bill Gates Responded to the Claims?
Gates strongly denied the accusations. A spokesperson told the Daily Mail that the claims were “absolutely absurd and completely false," adding, “The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame."
Reports also noted that Gates has previously admitted meeting Epstein but has long denied wrongdoing. He has said he regretted the association after learning more about Epstein’s criminal history.
What Do the Released Photos Allegedly Show?
The Sun further reported that the DOJ files include undated photographs showing Epstein and Gates together. In one image, Gates is seen standing next to a woman whose face has been blurred.
What Is Included in the Latest DOJ Document Release?
The Justice Department has started releasing more than three million pages of records, along with thousands of videos and photographs, connected to Epstein and his links with powerful individuals.
By Friday evening, more than 600,000 documents had been published online, while millions more identified for possible release remain sealed, drawing political criticism.
The first set of files details Epstein’s communications with several well-known people and internal messages among investigators following his death in a New York jail in 2019, which multiple official investigations ruled a suicide.
Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges and died in his cell just over a month later.
