Nearly a year after the discovery, David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd, was arrested in Los Angeles in connection with the case. He was taken into custody from a residence in the Hollywood Hills, marking a significant development in the investigation.
Alleged Link Between D4vd and Celeste
Investigators believe that D4vd and Celeste were connected prior to her disappearance. Reports suggest that the two may have met online, possibly through Discord, where she was allegedly part of his server as early as 2022. According to her mother, Celeste had mentioned a boyfriend named “David,” and similarities such as a matching “Shhh…” finger tattoo pointed toward a close association.
Sources also indicated that Celeste had previously run away to meet him, strengthening suspicions of an ongoing relationship. Authorities are now examining this connection as a key element in the case, especially after her remains were found in a vehicle allegedly linked to the singer D4vd.
Although the connection & reasons of death are being investigated & further updates are awaited.
