The Chinese, through these agents, are trying to stop the ongoing economic development, says BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.
New Delhi
Pliable people playing into Chinese hands will not go scot-free anymore, be it CPM’s former top boss Prakash Karat or journalists or academics, Member of Parliament Nishikant Dubey told The Sunday Guardian, launching yet another scathing attack on the “Tukde Tukde gang” saying “they are blinded by Chinese funds” and have been making possible what China failed to achieve when they tried to breach Indian borders via Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh.
The Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Jharkhand cited a report by the New York Times during the final week of the Monsoon Session in the Lok Sabha to allege that Congress leaders and news organisation NewsClick received funds from Beijing to create an “anti-India” atmosphere. The MP from Godda, who was back in his constituency within hours of the Parliament session getting over, also threatened a privilege motion against all those who tweeted that his comments were expunged, saying, “I should be the first to know from the House Leader or Speaker when my words are expunged, when I don’t know, how did they know? When my speech was not uploaded yet how did they get to know of the expunging? Who are they working for? Whose agenda are they pushing?”
“It was not just I, but Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, as well as the Prime Minister, who raised the same issue, so that shows the government has proper knowledge and evidence against Newsclick and others, whom China is using as a tool against India from within the country.”
“There is enough evidence against (Prakash) Karat, NewsClick owner Prabir Purkayastha, and several others being named even in media now; the Enforcement Directorate is already on the job, the High Court was moved, properties seized.
Whoever the Chinese are nurturing, feeding crores to peddle agenda will be brought to book soon. The tukde-tukde gang’s only aim is to create anarchy and they will not be spared. They should expect to be put behind bars in no time.”
“The Chinese, through these agents, are trying to stop the ongoing economic development, e.g., in the mining sector, in job creation, besides, creating confusion among the youth. Just like in 1947, the Muslims were waylaid to believe that the government will not take care of them, a similar situation is being created. The minorities and the Northeast are being targeted to make us ‘divide and fall’,” Dubey said. China is able to re-enact the divide and rule policy of the British because of a greedy bunch of anti-nationals, he added.
“This idea that because India is a democracy, action will be fractured given all the voices that will be raised is not true. India is a vibrant democracy which means the government represents the voice of 140 crore people. Nothing is stronger than a democratic government,” he said.
“The government respects the voice of the people, every person has that right in a democracy. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke against the draconian British era sedition law that is being removed. But it is one thing to raise an issue and another to use issues as weapon to divide a nation. There is ample proof. I too have some evidence, there are papers linking all those named to these anti-national activities,” the BJP MP said.
He said he was still awaiting action from those journalists who threatened to sue him after being named.
The BJP leader said that already the two-nation theory was successful in the past when India was broken into three pieces, now China is aiding and abetting separatist and Naxalite movements.
The Chinese face continuous defeats, their earlier goal of creating a Pashupati to Tirupati corridor till Andhra failed, the Naxal movement was wiped out as the Left insurgent leaders went to jail. So now, they are targeting the greedy lot who wants to destroy the government.
Those opposed to the BJP have said that all these charges were politically motivated.
