NewsNDA leads Bihar exit polls, I.N.D.I.A. bloc trails

NEW DELHI: NDA is ahead in Bihar exit polls with 33 seats, while the I.N.D.I.A. bloc trails with 7.

In the state of Bihar, the NDA is swiftly ahead of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc as per exit polls. ITV network D-Dynamics predicts that the NDA may win 33 seats while the INDIA bloc may win 7 seats.

According to the India Today-Axis In my India predictions, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to win 29–33 seats, while the I.N.D.I. alliance will likely claim victory on 7–10 seats. In the exit poll conducted by Axis My India, Independent Pappu Yadav is predicted in one of Bihar’s pivotal constituencies, Purnia Lok Sabha. According to the survey, independent candidate Pappu Yadav is emerging ahead of Rashtriya Janata Dal’s (RJD) Bima Bharti and Janata Dal (United)’s Santosh Kushwaha, while Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh is also losing to Karakat in the exit polls.

According to the School of Politics exit poll, both daughters of political heavyweight Lalu Prasad Yadav are trailing in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Misa Bharti is facing tough competition from the BJP’s Ramkripal Yadav in Patliputra, while Rohini Acharya is trailing behind the BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy from the Saran constituency. While Lok Janshakti Party (LJP-R) Chirag Paswan is projected to win all five seats contested by his party. The survey indicates that LJP (Ram Vilas) is set to secure victories in Hajipur, Samastipur, Jamui, Vaishali, and Khagaria.

Speaking on the exit polls, Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Sinha said, “These are exit polls and not final results. We know the verdict of the people will be in our favour, as core RJD voters have also shown faith in the BJP this time.” JDU leader Abhishek Jha said that Lok Sabha elections have been conducted in seven phases across the country. As we have said earlier, the NDA will form a majority government. Most exit polls indicate the same.
While the RJD is confident of opening its account in Bihar, RJD leader Manoj Jha said, “I have seen Tejasvi’s campaign, and I can say that we will win at least 25 seats in the state”.
