The Central Government has notified for the appointment of Additional Judges Justice Anil Pansare and Justice Sandipkumar More as the Permanent Judges of the Bombay High Court.
The appointment of them are notified by the Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
The Supreme Court Collegium comprising of CJI DY Chandrachud and Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Sanjiv Khanna had recommended the names for their appointment.
The Bombay High Court Collegium recommended the two Additional Judges for permanent appointment on 12.04.2023.
The recommendation made for the appointment was also concurred by the Chief Ministers and Governors of Maharashtra and Goa.
The Supreme Court judges are familiar with the functioning of the Bombay High Court were consulted to assess the suitability of the nominated Judges, as per the Collegium’s Memorandum of Procedure.
It has been concluded by the Supreme Court Collegium that both the Justice Pansare and Justice More are fit and are suitable for the appointment as Permanent Judges of the Bombay High Court, against the existing vacancies.
