Bigwigs put their worst foot forward on the red carpet

African pop singer and entrepreneur, Denicia wore scary-looking shoes to the Grammy 2016 red carpet in LA. The Cameroonian singer’s platform heels were decked with multi-coloured studs and spikes on a transparent base. These shoes are one of the most controversial pair of shoes worn on the red carpet. Denicia paired this up with a hot pink Hello Kitty onesie, which was studded with glittery sequins, crosses and other jewels. Nothing at all could save this outfit — from her hair to her cat eye-glasses.

Singer Esnavi wore leopard print shoes on the red carpet at the 7th Annual Housing Works Design on a Dime charity shopping event at Metropolitan Pavilion on 5 May 2011 in New York City. Wearing a weird animal pattern ankle boot at the event sure brought her to the spotlight and she became the most talked about subject. Apart from the multi-coloured animal print, the most eye catching element of the shoes was the design of platforms which was made up of transparent material.   

 

Lady Gaga

The weirdest, shiniest shoes that we have ever come across are those of Lady Gaga. She looked odd, as usual, and the best thing that can be said about her shoes is that they were undoubtedly unique. With her bejewelled camel toe shoes, yellow hair and electrifying look, Lady Gaga looked like a sparkling star in her dress, making the event appear like a fancy dress show. The event where she wore this outfit and the shoe was the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2010.

 

Rossy De Palma

Spanish actress Rossy De Palma wore green-yellow-red spiky platform heels as she posed during the photo call for the film Julietta at the 69th International Film Festival in Cannes on 17 May 2016. Her heels were full of colours and had golden spikes jutting out. She paired the heels with a black jumpsuit to complete the attire.
