This is how you let the festive spirit reflect in your wardrobe

The new collection is a master-class in fusion; combining Indian silhouettes with western prints and fabrics also giving a twist to this festive month. The range comprises printed silk crop tops with matching maxi skirts, silk jackets, capes & peplum tops. One can team up with traditional attire served with a side of quirky and cool look which Indya perfectly offers.  

Ankur and Priyanka

Ankur Modi and Priyanka Modi have come up with their Ankur & Priyanka Modi’s first signature collection. Curated into a careful selection of flowing ensembles consisting of long jackets, capes, gowns, skirts, draped saris, dhotis, anarkalis and lehengas, the designers recommend to go for luxurious fabrics like organza, velvet, types of silk and weaves laced with threads of silver & gold. A multitude of techniques have been used on the garments amongst them heritage ones like mukaish and zardozi. 

Aditi Gupta

Designer Aditi Gupta of the brand Azalea has come up with her best collection of Indian attires for this time of the year. Her collection includes gorgeous long gowns and pretty dresses in bright colors like peppy pink, glitzy golden and youngish yellow. The designer advices outfits which includes cut out kurtas with silk trousers, off shoulder blouses with lehenga choli and full sleeves dresses as well. You can pair them with statement earrings, rings and neckpieces.

Ritam Senger

Designer Ritam Senger of brand Roora, suggests peach colour apt for a festive occasion. Leave your hair loose, accessorize if with minimal jewellery, soft makeup and be the head turner with your dreamy look. The simple intricate work design makes the look even more attractive. When it comes to jewellery, one can pair it up with some pretty contemporary jewellery which will enhance the look and put on minimal make up with a light lipstick shade and you are ready for any festive occasion.

Arjun Singh

Designer Arjun Singh of Wedding Lounge has come up with kurta-churidars collection. He suggests flaunt your ethnic side with a long red ikat print kurta with pyjama and kolhapuris. For a leaner and taller look, opt for vertical striped kurta. Nehru jackets and waistcoats are one of the most versatile garments. Channel your inner nawabi style by wearing a solid or printed  jacket and mid thigh or above knee linen kurta paired with well fitted jodhpuri pants and brogues. Play with colours like beige, purple, grey, blue.
