City gets together for ‘Beer Pong’ at Bottles & Barrels

Bottles & Barrels is Gurgaon’s first horizontal brew house recently organized a Knock out Beer Pong Slam  in association with Vh1 India, and powered by Koala Fight Media. It serves different flavours of beer throughout. Known for dining restaurant with an integrated sports bar area that caters to the community, they provide amicable and attentive services in a relaxed environment. Their menu reflects today’s consumer, offering delicacies from around the world including a mélange of Indian, Oriental, Continental and Italian. Also offering vibrant live music performed thrice a week with other days talented resident DJ spins retro rock, disco hits, foot tapping house and Bollywood numbers. 

The tournament featured 64 teams consisting of two people per team where two teams attempt to throw ping pong balls across the table into opponents cups filled with beer. Each team received a complimentary pint of beer and the winning team “Drunken dudes, Team Madaan and Thirsty Bulls” received a chance of ultimate free beer night, a value of more than 1 Lakh+ including INR 20,000 cash. The opponent team was supposed to drink the beer if the ball sinks in their cups. Top 16 teams got a chance to win several gift hampers by Kingfisher, Beardo, Matchstix and Moja Club.

Rohit Maingi, managing partner, Bottles & Barrels said, “Beer Pong slam was originated in the Western World, it’s a game of participation and bonding. After the overwhelming response from the last three editions of Beer Pong tournament in Mumbai, we have brought the fourth edition of knock out of the beer mugs here in Gurgaon. We at Bottles & Barrels try to intact uniqueness in our offerings, food, ambiance and entertainment.”

The response from the customers and participants was nifty. The delectable food offered by Bottles and Barrels was play up of the tournament.
