The Rapoo S100 is the the wild cousin of the original wireless series of headphones from the same company, available in a range of bright colours and
fun patterns.
All the wiring is cleverly hidden in the enclosure, giving it an overall clean look. The cups sit comfortably over the ears, but if you’re used to a snug fit, these will have you wishing for slightly tighter headphones. (On the plus side, the loose fit makes these headphones great for longer periods of listening.)
The plastic housing of the entire unit doesn’t seem entirely reliable, especially since it wobbles when held up by one cup. The pads on them, however, are removable and seem more premium than the rest of it.
In terms of the sound, the quality is fairly decent. The bass is punchy, but not so much that it overpowers the rest of the music.
It also connects to two devices simultaneously. So if you’re listening to music from your laptop/tablet and receive a call on your phone, the headphones (which come with a built-in microphone) will promptly switch to it and let you attend to your call — basically, you never really need to take these headphones off your head for anything except a shower.
On a single charge, you’ll get over a day of usage; when power runs out, just plug a USB charging cable into the headphones and they will take over as the source of music and power, charging as they go.
If you’re looking for a decent pair of wireless headphones, and you’re okay with a loose fit, Rapoo S100 could fit the bill, especially considering that it isn’t high.
