Legally SpeakingTrolling case: Advocate seeks FIR against YouTubers

New Delhi: Abhinav Arora, a 10-year-old spiritual influencer from Delhi, is at the center of a legal case involving alleged online trolling and threats. Advocate Pankaj Arya, representing the young content creator, announced that the next court hearing is scheduled for January 3.

Speaking to the media, Arya explained, “We had a hearing in the Court today. The legal proceeding is underway…The next date of hearing has been scheduled for 3rd January.”

The case revolves around allegations that certain YouTubers have been targeting Abhinav with defamatory campaigns. Arya elaborated, “A group of individuals has launched a smear campaign against Abhinav Arora and Sanatana Dharma. We have approached the court to seek justice. If necessary, we will take this matter to the High Court or even the Supreme Court. We have demanded the registration of an FIR against these YouTubers.”

This legal battle is compounded by claims from Abhinav’s family that they have received life threats. In October, the family reported threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, intensifying concerns for Abhinav’s safety.

His mother, Jyoti Arora, expressed her anguish, highlighting that her son’s actions have always been rooted in devotion. “Abhinav has done nothing wrong.

His focus has always been on spirituality, yet he faces such severe threats. Social media is being used to amplify this situation against us,” she stated.

She recounted a recent incident, saying, “We received a threatening message from the Lawrence Bishnoi group, stating that Abhinav would be killed. Last night, I missed a call, and today, we received a text from the same number repeating the threat.”
