Miley Cyrus through her social media announced that she will release a new album, Younger Now, on 29 September, bearing just the album’s title and the release date.
The 24-year-old on 8 August tweeted, “#YoungerNow NEW ALBUM 9.29.17 !!! @ITSJEREMYSCOTT” as she unveiled the launch date via an image.
The image shows a dazzling jacket with the album’s titlewritten over it with a rope. While the image dilvuges no further details, the tweet has sent the pop star’s fans in a frenzy.
The album, her sixth, is expected to be more-or-less official follow-up to her 2013 hit album Bangerz, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and passed the million-sales mark several months later.
In 2015 she launched Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz in collaboration with the Flaming Lips. The album was an odd, experimental and a self-confessed outing under the influence of weed, which was released as a free download immediately after Cyrus turned host for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
Recently she released two songs, “Malibu” and “Inspired,” which are performing well across the charts.
