‘Max India Foundation wants to build a healthy India’

When people say “India of my dreams”, they mean an India free from ill-health, pain, suffering and unwanted deaths. Health issues are often a matter of life and death; therefore, no individual can be left unattended because of inability to afford health care. This resolve of “caring for life with Sevabhav” was at the core of setting up Max India Foundation, the CSR arm of the Max Group of Companies.

The Foundation provides quality healthcare to the underprivileged. The mission is to reduce the burden of disease and safeguard the underprivileged against getting caught in the vicious cycle of debt and poverty. The core interventions include immunisation camps, general and multi-specialty health check-up camps, support towards cost intensive surgeries as well as providing artificial limbs and polio callipers. Further, emphasis is laid on health awareness so that communities adopt healthy behavioural practices. The programme has been strategically designed with a right blend of curative, preventive and promotive interventions to further the national health agenda as well as goals enshrined under Sustainable Development Goals. In 10 years of its service, Max India Foundation has been able to bring good health in the lives of over 28 lakh underprivileged people across India. Max India Foundation is committed to do its bit towards nation building.

The mission is to build a “Healthy India, Productive India”. The journey is long and challenging and there are miles to go, which the Foundation is covering surely, even if slowly. The Foundation wishes Indians a Happy Independence Day and a healthy life to be lived to the MAXimum.
