PDP president Mehbooba Mufti and BJP state president Sat Sharma will meet Jammu and Kashmir governor N.N. Vohra on Tuesday, after the Vohra asked the two parties to clear the air on government formation.
Senior state BJP leader told this newspaper that PDP was resorting to political coercion and no fresh demands would be entertained.
Informed sources said that Mehbooba Mufti was in touch with the central leadership of BJP and has sought a time frame for the implementation of many issues in the “agenda of alliance”. State Congress leaders have said that there was no basis in the media reports that Congress was ready to give support to Mehbooba Mufti in case she will not go ahead with BJP. But insiders in PDP camp claimed that Mehbooba Mufti was in touch with Central leadership of the Congress.
